Thorbjørn is a versatile musician and composer from Denmark who brings his experience as a professional performer into his teaching. His approach is creative, encouraging, and tailored to each student, helping them build strong musical foundations while discovering their own voice and relationship with music. With a background in jazz and improvisation, Thorbjørn encourages students to listen, experiment, and explore music with curiosity and confidence. He has collaborated with artists including Tim Hagans, George Garzone, Kit Downes, and Jim Black, and has performed at major jazz festivals in the U.S. and Europe. He is a Danish Music Award winner and recipient of the JIB Jazz Prize for Outstanding Soloist.
