Welcome to the playground of musical creativity. During our Composition and Improvisation classes you don’t just learn how to play music, you create it!
We believe that composition is like painting with sound. You’ll become the artist, and your instrument is your paintbrush. We teach the fundamental principles of composing music, from crafting memorable melodies to structuring intricate harmonies and rhythms. Through a blend of theoretical instruction, creative exercises, and personalized feedback, students develop their unique musical voice and gain the skills and confidence to bring their musical ideas to life.
Improvisation is where the real fun begins. It’s like a musical game of “yes, and…” in this class anything goes, and every idea is a springboard for creativity. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge, technical skill-building, creative exercises, and performance experience, students develop the confidence and proficiency to improvise fluently and creatively in a variety of musical contexts.

Our monthly fee is $350, covering four 45-minute private sessions
