Hector Marin is a professional guitarist, composer, and educator who teaches guitar to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced players. With a focus on rock guitar and a background spanning classical, pop, and contemporary music, Hector connects lessons to the music each student loves while breaking down complex concepts into clear, achievable steps. His encouraging approach helps students build technique, confidence, and expressive freedom on the instrument.

Hector has over 20 years of teaching experience and studied classical guitar at the University of Costa Rica before earning a degree in Music Composition from The City College of New York.
