Grades PRE-K-2: Mon-Fri 9AM – 12PM 
Grades 3-5: Mon-Fri 1PM – 4PM

Rising STAR: Week 1 (July 6-10) and Week 5 (Aug 3-7) 
Classical: Week 2 (July 13-17)
Musical Theater: Week 3 (July 20-24) and Week 6 (Aug 10-14)
Songwriting & Production : Week 4 (July 27-31)

ALL CAMPS
Age & Levels: Ages 5–12 | All Levels Welcome.  No prior music experience is required.
Location: Above the Notes Studio in Manhattan: 244 E 59th St. 2F
Schedule: Monday–Friday 
Morning 9AM-12PM: Entering Grades K-2
Afternoon 1PM-4PM: Entering Grades 3-5
Enrollment: Families may enroll in any individual week(s) or all weeks for a discounted rate. 
Snacks: Students should bring their own snacks and water bottles. (*Please let us know if your child has any allergies or dietary restrictions) 
Friday Performance: Every week ends with a performance open to friends and family! 
Daily Schedule Mon-Thurs: 
15 min  •  Hello Routine!
1 hour • Learning Skills as a Full Ensemble
15 min  •  Snack Break
1 hour • Individualized/Small Group Labs 
30 min. • Sharing time, wrap up/review and goodbye routine 
 
Daily Friday Schedule 
15 min • Hello Routine!
1 hour • Dress rehearsal
15 min • Snack Break
15 min • Welcome friends and family
1 hour • Final performance and reflection
 
PERFORMANCES: 
MORNING (K-2): FRIDAY 11AM 
AFTERNOON (3-5): FRIDAY 3PM

RISING STARS!

Week 1 (July 6-10) & Week 5 (Aug 3-7) 
 
🎸Introduction to a variety of instruments: Piano, Drums, Guitar, and Voice. (Will accommodate students at any level) 
🎸Drum grooves, timing, and coordination
🎸Music technology games and composition  
🎸Creative lyric writing 
🎸one-on-one lessons for each instrument
🎸Music theory games 
🎸Playing in a band and working as a team  
🎸Building confidence as performers!
 
Final Performance: At the end of the week, parents and friends will be invited to a performance showcasing original songs co-written by the students, and a jam session where students will have the opportunity to play each instrument. 

Classical 

Week 2 (July 13-17)
🎻Introduction to classical music, instruments, and ensembles
🎻Building musical knowledge, skills, and vocabulary
🎻Music based games
🎻Engaging our imaginative and interpretive skills
🎻one-on-one lessons for piano and violin 
🎻Performance etiquette 
🎻 Team work in a music ensemble
Final Performance: At the end of the week, parents and friends will be invited to a performance showcasing pieces from the week.

MUSICAL THEATER

Week 3 (July 20-24) & Week 6 (Aug 10-14)
🎭Theater games 
🎭Improvisational skills 
🎭Rehearsing scenes 
🎭Singing and dancing in an ensemble 
🎭Individualized labs to work on solos and scenes 
🎭Explore the art of storytelling 
🎭What to expect in auditions
🎭Building confidence on and off the stage!
 
Final Performance: At the end of the week, parents and friends will be invited to a performance showcasing scenes and songs from the week.

SONGWRITING & PRODUCTION

Week 4 (July 27-31) 
🎶 Introduction to a variety of instruments: Piano, Ukulele, Guitar, and Voice. (Will accommodate students at any level) 
🎶 Intro to GarageBand, MIDI, and other music technology tools 
🎶 Music technology games and composition  
🎶 Creative lyric writing 
🎶 One-on-One lessons for each instrument
🎶  Individualized feedback for original songs 
🎶 Music theory games 
🎶 Exploring song structure and rhyme 
🎶 Building confidence as performers!
 
Final Performance: At the end of the week, parents and friends will be invited to a performance showcasing original songs by the students. 
 
*For an additional price, students are able to have their song recorded, mixed, and mastered by a professional producer!!!
