I believe that slow is fast, especially when building a strong musical foundation. Taking the time to master the basics gives students the confidence they need to grow and succeed in the long term. I always encourage my students to ask questions and speak up whenever they’re unsure or need a refresher. By creating a supportive, patient, and encouraging environment, learning becomes less stressful and far more enjoyable. I believe students learn best when they feel safe, valued, and trust their teacher—and I strive to build that connection through kindness, patience, and genuine encouragement.
